I just want to say that I will miss everyone this week! I wish I could be there for Anders' final workout at CCF on Friday. He has become a part of my life everyday and I will be sad as a coach to see him go. Anders, you have come so far. Make us proud in San Diego.

Also, I would like to tell Megan THANK YOU! You have given us so much by updating our website and we are truly blessed to have your creative talent at our gym. You are also a pretty darn good athlete! Thank you for giving us a site to be proud of! This gym has grown so much this past year and this website is a fitting end to a great year of growth.

Thank you to all of our members and guests who came to the Christmas Party! We were able to collect and donate so many toys to Toys For Tots. Plus, we had an awesome time!

Have a great week ya'll! Post some of your times so I can keep up while I'm in Texas!!

I just wanted to say great job everyone on the workout today. Todays workout was one where there is no weight involved and no pullups so most people can Rx it. It was awsome seeing everyone bust their butts today. I love looking in the book and seeing how much everyone improves each time. Again, Great job everyone!

Love the new site!! I have had to take 2 weeks off for a 1/2 in Vegas (I meant to just take a week off prior to the run...but.....hurt myself pretty bad running 13.1 miles and had to take another week off). I will be back at it tonight at my gym here in cold ass Wyoming, going to try and PR "Michael" and hopefully I don't get yelled at for running around from treadmil to back extensions to situps!! Its going to be fun.

Congrats you guys on your cert, I am looking at doing one in the next year or so, just have to find one that isn't sold out and close enough!!

More stuff I learned from the cert.
I am old as dirt.
The crossfit superstars are the real deal, but we have some right here at CCF.
If our coaches are second to none, what is the benefit?
1. The lectures explain some things better than the journal articles and videos on the main site.
2. Its fun.
3. You are immersed in the crossfit culture for 48 hours so you learn some new things and some things you already knew sink in better.
4. You have several coaches watching your every move.
5. You get what seems like thousands of repetitions in a concentrated time.
6. None of the coaches are better than ours, but you get hands on coaching from at least 6 different one. All coaches come from different backgrounds and have their own styles and cues. You learn several different ways of correcting faults. Different cues work better with different people.
7. Crossfit people at CCF and other places seem to be humble, helpful and genuinely interested in your progress.
8. It is motivational, inspirational and exhausting.
You meet interesting people. Guys with large saftey pins in their ears and and silver studs in their nipples ?????? What's up with that ????
You see lots of interesting tatoos.
Jacksonville is a great party town. Brian and I partied every night all night. Hungover Fran is a real test of fitness. Just kidding, You will be too tired to do anything but eat & sleep.
The lectures are very good and entertaining, Time passed quickly.
1,000 squats in one day makes your posterier chain hurt.
A PVC pipe can get very heavy.
1,000 medicine ball cleans will teach you something and wear you out.
I hope to go to some ofther certs.
There is so much to learn and some of the movements are so complex that you can never learn it all.
Nobody knows it all. Even the headquarters experts admit that.
Many thanks to Brian and Danna for being such great travelling companions and for helping to drive.
I am whipped. I got to take a nap.

Murph mixed with Bud light on Friday. probably in the 3 PM class so get off work early. Last CCF WOD. The more the merrier.
