Picture: After hiking to the top of the Acatenango volcano (12,700 ft) in Guatemala with my wife and daughter. Started at 5am, 6 hours to the top, hiked 9 miles with an altitude gain of 1.3 MILES. Brutal, then had to hike back down.

Something other members wouldn’t know about you: I am a pilot and come from
a family of pilots. My father, brother, sister, son Shannon (also a CrossFit-ter), and
daughter Erin, are all pilots.
Biggest accomplishment you think can be attributed to CrossFit: Confidence in my
physical being. Getting me excited about working out EVERY day. Like many at our little
gym, I am a frickin addict. I find myself checking the website every night to see what
WOD I will have to mentally prepare for the next day.
Favorite WOD: I enjoy them all, but my body type is best suited for the Filthy Fifty, Fight
Gone Bad, or any of the high endurance type workouts.
Least Favorite WOD: Anything with Muscle Ups, HSPU, or Heavy Thrusters.
What do you do outside of CrossFit: Mostly work, but my job allows me to fly which is a
tremendous gift. I also am a fan of karaoke.
